lyrics

Billy kept mostly to himself, but only mostly.
Lived in a shack built on his back, in the woods,
it was ghostly.
Only one girl for Billy, her name was Winnie,
and she slept right under his bed.
She was a lever-action hair-triggered .45,
and her favorite color was red.

Billy,
leave that girl alone.
Billy,
leave that girl alone.

Billy woke in the middle of the night
when the cavalry arrived.
Blood moon lit the whole platoon,
they weren't takin' Billy alive.
Captain yelled, “Ready, aim steady, and fire on command.”
But all those soldiers, they didn’t mean a thing
‘cause they were fightin’ on Billy’s land.

Billy,
you’ve got nowhere to go.
Billy,
you’ve got nowhere to go.

about

Fox Kalamazoo, Michigan

John, Chris, and Carman are all from Kalamazoo, Michigan. They went to the same middle school and high school, where they found fellowship through being socially awkward together. The lot of them decided it would make them much cooler if they played instruments. IT DIDN'T WORK. That's okay though, because they have fun playing music anyway and have yet to be cited for offending someone's eardrums. ... more
